Party Process

All children will be asked to sit in a "horseshoe" shape or semi-circle. Place the birthday childs chair at one end of the open horseshoe so he or she will be next to The Creature Teacher. A family room, garage or other open area is ideal. Please sit children on the floor and parents behind the children on couches and chairs. The animals will be taken out one at a time and briefly talked about and then the children will be allowed to touch the animal before it is put back and another is taken out. During the show, the birthday child sits up front with The Creature Teacher and our special freinds will be placed on their lap for petting/holding. Please keep in mind, we do have size and age limit restrictions. They are as follows:
- Age restrictions: Children must be 3 years of age to be able to touch the animals and it is recommended that children under the age of 3 do not sit within the show area
- Size limits: less than 15 children when the birthday child is 5 years of age or younger, less than 20 children when the birthday child is 6 year of age and older

- we "spotlight" the birthday child. He or she is the focal point of the show and sits up front with The Creature Teacher. The animals will be placed on his or her lap while we ask simple and interesting questions of the birthday child about the animal they are holding.
- you choose the animals you want to see
- OUTDOOR SHOWS PERMITTED: indoor or outdoors (weather permitting & complete shade needed for animals and people)
- pick a quiet, secluded spot away from toys, games and bounce houses

- sit the party children in a single file, "horseshoe" shape with the middle area empty (free of coffee tables, games, etc.)
- minimal space needed, no clean up afterwards
- please start your party at least 30 minutes prior to show start time so the show will not be interrupted by latecomers ringing the door bell and trying to find a seat
- photography permitted and optional photo sessions available for a small additional fee (go to Photo Sessions page)

FOR PARTIES WITH OVER 20 CHILDREN IN ATTENDANCE
We can accommodate larger party groups however they work a bit differently. In order to keep all children calm and control noise level for the animals here are your three choices for an over 20 person party:
- all children may pet EVERY OTHER animal
- all children may pet ONE animal at the end of the show
- purchase two shows of equal length and divide each show into equal numbers of children (i.e. twenty kids per show, however, the group of children waiting for their show time should have another activity located away from the show area)

Tell you guests that The Creature Teacher will be at your party!! We have announcements
for parties with or without a photo session and all you do is write in what time the animal show will start. It's easy--click
below on which card you would like to print. Use photo paper, brochure paper, colored paper or even note card or card stock
paper. Your download should print 4 cards each approximately 4.5" X 3". Then just cut with scissors and stick inside
your invitation. NOTE: Your printer settings should be set to "Landscape" (not Portrait) Go
