Chameleon

Best for ages 5 and up, but no touch!

While there are over 200 species of chameleons, ours range from Veiled, Panther or Jackson’s. Many chameleons come from madagascar.  These beautiful lizards change colors to show their mood.  We can tell when our chameleons are happy, and when they are not. Chameleons are very easily stressed, so we look, but we do not touch.

Chameleons have long tongues that they shoot our to catch their prey.  They love crickets, worms, and roaches.

*Fun fact: they are the only lizards in the world that can move their eyes in two different directions, looking east AND west at the same time. Can you do that?
