Belinda – Midwestern State University
In October of 2011, Belinda purchased THe Creature Teacher, LLC and has watched it grow and flourish over the past 12 years. Her role significantly changed as the business has added instructors. You might still catch her at the library or one of the school programs.
Belinda has a strong background in science education. After spending 15 years in the medical field, she decided to dedicate her efforts to education. One of the turning points in har career was when Belinda served as the Nature Center Coordinator at Sky Ranch in Van, TX. It was there she found her passion for animals and realized that students learn life science better when they can actually experience and interact with live animals. Kids love animals and she found a way to make learning fun!
Belinda and her family are avid animal lovers that hope to share their appreciation for these incredible animals and the positive influence they have on the environment around us.
