Colton – Lubbock Christian University
Colton graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Science Education. He taught biology for six years before coming to work for the Creature Teacher. Colton grew up in Midlothian where he helped his dad raise cattle and also showed heifers in many livestock shows across Texas. This work with cattle helped build Colton’s love of animals.
He currently serves as a full-time high school biology teacher for Maypearl ISD. He still helps us a great deal on the weekends and summers. His knowledge of the TEKS and life sciences is such a huge asset to our organization.
Colton has a great love for teaching. His working for the Creature Teacher has furthered Colton’s desire for students to grow in their love of science and learning about animals. Colton tries to excite every person who attends his programs about animals and learning more about them!
